He finds that the senator has nothing: to do with exemption appeals and that thee appeals will bo decided wholly on the record as certified up to Cten. Crowder by fhe district appeal boards. Nothing; that has happened since the appeal board acted will' be taken into consideration In any instance and oral argument will not be heard. In no case will an appeal based on dependency be entertained here, as the final appeal in all such cases was the district board.

107 READ! TO LEAVE E. CHICAGO BTJXX.ETnT.) A baggage car Is now tanolaff on the Pennsylvania tracks at the East Chicago station la readiness to receive the baggage of the soldiers who depart for the south tomorrow morning-. All soldiers shonld make It a point to place their baggage in the car before eigrht o'clock tomorrow morning- that the departure of the train on schednla train time may not be unnecessarily delayed. By request of J. J. Sreesen, agent. On hundred seven men will leave Cocoanut Oil Fine For Washing Hair If you want to keep your hair In good condition, be careful what you wash It with. Most soaps and prepared shampoos contain too much alkali. This dries the scalp, makes the hair brittle, and is very harmful. Just plain mulsifled cocoanut oil (which Is pure and entirely greaseless). Is much better than the most expensive soap or anything else you can use for shampooing, as this can't possibly injure the hair. Simply moisten your hair with water and rub it In. One or two teaspoonfuls will make an abundance of rich, creamy lather, and cleanses the hair and scalp thoroughly. The lather rinses out easily, and removes every particle of dust, dirt, dandruff and excessive oil. The hair dries quickly and evenly, and it leaves It fine and silky, bright, fluffy and easy to manage. You can get mulsifled cocoanut oil at most any drug store. It is very cheap, and a few ounces is enough to last everyone In the family for' months. Adv. SS323SJEgSSnSB!SfflS REAL ESTATE LOANS are made on improved Hammond Real Estate at lowest rates.
