Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Controller in the City Hall of the City of Hammond, Indiana, until the 14th day of August, 1917, at twelve o'clock noon, for the purchase of municipal bonds or the City of Hammond. Indiana. Said bonds to be issued to the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) in the denomination of One Thousand Dollars each and bearing date October 1, 1917 with interest at 4J per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, eviderfced by coupons for each six months' interest.
