The rehearsals for the operatta "The Tyrolein Queen" are progressing fine, and the operetta will be1 ready for presentation to the public on June 25 and 26. It Is for the' benefit of the local Red Cross and should be well patronized. The funeral services of Emil Thomen were held at St. Mary's Catholic church on Monday morning. A large number df friends and relatives of the deceased gathered to pay their last respects. The body was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery! n Crown Point. It Is estimated that at least 5,000 people were In attendance at the motorcycle races on Sunday. A steady stream of machines journeyed to the fair grounds during the day, from Chicago and suburbs, many bringing their families.
