DYER The regular drill and practice of the volunteer fire department took place Thursday evening. Marshal Eugene Staff is busy at present repairing the bad places in the town streets and tilling them with fine stone. Later on the streets are to receive a coating of tarvia which will make them practically dustless. Sunday evening the seniors of the Dyer high school will give the play that has been postponed from Tuesday, at St. Joseph's hall. According tp good authority there will be a ball game here Sunday afternoon as a team from Robertsdale is slated to come out here to play the D. H. ST team.
