standard and priced so reasonable can be bought on the installment plan." Well, it really can not, because our cred

it system is not the cut-anddried install

ment plan. We aim to arrange the terms and payments according to your desire, in other words you pay us for your furniture the same as you would put it in the bank -a little every pay-day or month. You see, this gives you a chance to buy GOOD FURNITURE at the right prices to use it and pay for it at your convenience.

"Do you deliver out of town by your own wagon, or do you send it by freight?" Yes, indeed, we deliver by our own TRUCKS anywhere within 75 miles. Of course, we don't make the 75-mile trips, but we go to Hammond and Gary every day and as far as Crown Point twice a week. "How is your service?" Well, here is where we shine. Each of our thres stores is managed by our own stockholders, whose interest is to see that customers are kept satisfied. Every store has what we call a SERVICE MAN, whose duty is to be on the job as soon as anything is reported. If it is out of town he is there as soon as i street car or train will get him there.

(The above conversation took place in oar East Chicago store last Monday with a young couple from Gary who were looking for furniture for a four-room flat and go homekeeping. And the deal was closed.)
