As the bill was introduced in the senate by ? natf-t Mci'ray, of Indianapolis, it would hae Kivcn the picture shows the right to mn rate all day mi Sunday. The senate passed the bill in that form and sent it to the house. The house amended the biil -so as to limit the Sunday performance to after 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The bill went back to the senate, which i occurred in the house amend ment. Then the bill went to the enrolling clerks for final enrollment -find presentati ii In the i ; . v. rn -r. eivernor (ojodi icii signed the biil on Thursday, but lie did not deliver it to the .secretary oi state on that (lay. Then be. looked over the bill apain, of 1 riday morning, and discoveied that the 2 o'clock amendment had been left out of the bill. So lie erased his signature and vetoed the bill. Whoever souprht to "put one over" on the Governor has hit the motion picture business in Indiana a hard jolt.
