Saturday of next week, at the Auditorium hall, Indiana Harbor. Congressman Barnhart. of Indiana, will be one of the principal speakers. McClay Hoyne, also of Chicago, and decidedly in the limelight of the present time, will also be present. Two speakers prominent in Indiana politics and men selected for their ability to address an audience will be introduced and two prominent Lake county Democrats will also take part in the speaking program. It will be one of the big Democratic meetings of the year, and will be attended by prominent men from various parts of northern Indiana. Most of the details have been already arranged and complete announcement will be made in a succeeding issue. Mr. Pisarski is in business and has been a Gary resident for nearly ten years. His brother, Valentine Pisarski, is the furniture merchant. The candidate is well acquainted with Gary conditions, especially those on the south side. GROTTO ELECTS OPEICERS Al-Hassan Grotto of East Chicago held their annual meeting last night for the election and installation of officers for the ensuing year. There was a good . attendance present from Whiting, Hammond and Gary. In the presence of State Grand Marshal Harry Ordway and Deputy State Grand Marshal Chas. Faitz. both of Chicago, the following officers were elected; Monach A. Ottenheimer, East Chica go. Chief Justice L. V. Cravens, Hammond. Treasurer W. F. Sullivan. Gary. Secretary Martin Peterson, East Chicago. Veiled Prophet. Marshal F. L. Evans. East Chicago. Captin of the Guards C. A. Klug. Hammond. Sentinel A. W. Pruning. Whiting. At the close of the election. Grand Marshal Ordway and Deputy Faitz installed the newly elected and appointed officers. Following the installation, the members present were royally entertained by the Grotto band and by Prophet James Johnstone of Indiana Harbor in several Scotch selections given in costume. After the entertainment refreshments were served and several inspiring talks given by members.
