Alnie Weils purchased a new Bulck automobile of Walter Bros., last week. Garden Price of Montana, is visitins with his Parents this week. Mrs. H. Wood and Mrs. Zuvers spent last Monday with Mrs. P. O. FStzsimmons of Gary Garden. Several of the teachers were absent from institute last Saturday. There is a change in the C. & O. time table, consequently the mail train will be affected. The mail train will go earlier. The Merrillviile teachers are planning a program of a minstrel and operetta, also a box social Friday evening, Dec. 15. the proceeds to go to the victrola fund. B. Burge is gradually growing weaker every day. The 21st of December the famrers' institute will be held in Merrillviile. Everybody should patronize the schools here Friday evening. Come out and have a good laugh.

gradually getting worse and last evening he was very low, with little hopes for his recovery. P. A. McKay was in Hammond on business yesterday. Joseph Kimmet and daughter Eleanor, and niece, Miss Bertha Kimmet of Tiffin, Ohio, are here visiting his brothers, John A. and George Kimmet and families. Attorney V. K. Roberts - and Jay Pearce were In Hammond yesterday on business. Mrs. E. F. Chapman was called to Frankfort yesterday on account of the serious illness of her brother. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bryant have gone to Florida where they will spend tbe winter. Mr. and "Mrs. S. N I Baird left yes. terday for their home in Butte. Mont., after a visit here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Dinwiddie.
