The deceased who was 53 years of age, is survived by her husband, her daughters, Mrs. Agn-s Bodine of Whiting, and Mrs. May me Greiner of Chesterton: four sons, Joseph, Francis, Alfred and Cleveland Dickinson, and a step-son, William Smith. Mrs. Smith also leaves one brother, Frank Richardson of Whiting, whom she had not seen for twenty-one years until he came to Whiting to visit her since here recent illness, having now moved his family here. Charles I. Orayden, Jr., of Chicago, son of the late Cyrus P. Drayden of Whiting, has donated J100 to the fund for the mothers' memorial pipe organ to lie installed at the Congregational t hurch. Miss Alta Farmer entertained a number of young people at a party at M. E. Harris' in honor of Miss Hazel Hackett who leaves in a few days for her home in Sugar Creek, Mo., to keep house for her father. Dancing ajid other amusements were enjoyed and as tokens of their friendship Miss Hackett was presented with some very nice gifts as a remembrance by the young people. Mrs. Julia Vargo, arrested on the charge of intoxication, was fined $30 and costs and stenced to thirty days in the house of correction.
