OILS HIVE 'BENEFIT

Two games are on the card for the basketball fans of the Calumet region for Saturday evening Dec. 9th. Both games will be played at the high school auditorium, thereby giving the fans their first glimpse of the teams that are in the field this year to cop the championship of their respective class. The Owls and the Hamlin Outlaws or Chicago will be the main attraction ot the evening. This will be the first hard game of the season for the fori.icr and will give the tans of this region a glimpse into what the future holds in sUre for the present holders of the Indiana state championship. Kxt.m. Vater, Kinzel, Girard. Gevintz, Bartuska and Springgate, will bear tiie burden of the owls. It is is expected that they will make their first appearance of the yar in the new white uniforms, which were recently purchased far tiiem by the Standard Oil Co. The 1'olarines. the lightweight team of the Owls Club will meet the fast Hamlin Clippers of Hamlin Park in a curtain raiser to the big game. The Clippers are the holders of the 1915-16, 125 lb. A. A. V. basketball championship of Chicago. The Polarines are made up principally of last year's high fchool team, and have put In some stiff practice sessions, in order to be in the pink of condition for the game Saturday night, which will, without doubt, be the hardest one that they will have this season. It has been the custom of the Owls in past years to play one game, the entire proceeds of which were turned over to the Trl Kappa charity fund, to be used at their discretion in administering to the wants of the poor and needy of the cit. The Tri Kappas will be in full charge, and the people of this community will be afforded a chance to kill' two birds with one stone; that is. to see ll'.e in id-west championship contenders in their first public appearance and also, to donate their mite for charity.

The town board met in monthly session Tuesday evening to transact their resrular routine work. '

Start Tomorrow and Keep It Up Every Morning

Get in the habit of drinking glass of hot water before breakfast.

We're not here long, so let's make our stay agreeable. Let ua live well, eat well, digest well, work well, sleep well, and look well. What a glorious condition to attain, and yet. how very easy it is if one will only rfdopt the morning inside bath. Folks who are accustomed to feel dull and heavy when they arise, splitting hetCdache, stuffy from a cold, foul tongue, nasty breath, acid stomach, can instead, feel as fresh as a daisy by opening the sluices of the system each morning- and flushing out the whole of the internal poisonous stagnant matter. Everyone, whether ailing, sick or well, should, each morning, before breakfast, drink a glass of real hot water with a teasjjoonful of limestone phosphate in It to wash from the stomach, liver and bowels the previous day's indigestible waste, sour bile and poisonous toxins; thus cleansing, sweetening and purifying the entire alimentary canal before putting more food into, the stomach. The action of hot water and limestone phosphate on an empty stomach Is wonderfully invigorating. It cleans out all the sour fermentations, gases, wasteland acidity and gives one a splendid appetite for breakfast. "While you are enjoying your breakfast the water and phosphate is quietly extracting a large volume of water from the blood and getting ready for a-thorough flushing of all the inside organs. The millions of people who are bothered with constipation, bilious spells, stomach trouble; others who have, sallow skins, blood disorders and sickly complexions are urged to get a quarter pound of limestone phosphate from the drug store. This will cost very little, but Is sufficient to make anyone a pronounced crank on the subject of inside-bathing before breakfast. Adv.
