Rodin, conceded the greatest of living sculptors, whose work by many art critics is pronounced superior to anything ever produced in ancient or modern times, recently celebrated his 80th birthday. M. A-number of Dyer people went to Hammond Sunday, and from there to Michigan City to attend the funeral of the late Oscar Johnson who met accidental death at Gibson, Friday. Charles Scheldt of Chicago, was the guest of relatives out here over Sunday. Sunday was one of those quiet Sundays we are to look for in the future, as relatively few automobiles passed through town.
