Graham of 3419 Fir street, met with perhaps a serious accident yesterday afternoon at 5:33, when he was striick by the auto truck belonging to Liake County Vulcanizing Company, and driven by Mr. James Johnstone. The extent of hia injuries is not - known. His nose ia known to be broken, but until the swelling subsides on parts of his body

There wer twenty-four ladies present. Mrs s0wart. chairman of the department gave a very interesting demonstration on stuffed and baked peppers, and MrP. A. Parks read a very good papeV on 'tea." Mrs. Cowart handed in h-T resignation as chairman of the department on account of her leaving- soon and Mrs. W. II. Miller was elected in her stead.
