Mrs. Herman Thelssen of Indiana boulevard was hostess to the members of the Iadies" Bible class at her home Wednesday evening. It was the regular monthly business meeting: of the t ias and was largely attended. Mrs. William Bahn of Kast Side was taken in as a member. After the business, far tiie evening was disposed of a dainty luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Tucker of Pearl 'reet visited the former's mother.

Mr. and Mrs. George Holsworth and Mrs. George Slack left Wednesday for Kingston Mine, IU., to attend the funeral of Mrs. Holeworth's grandmother, Mrs. Macha. Jonn Bley transacted business In Hammond Wednesday. John Peterson of Harrison avenue has purchased a seven-passenger Cadillac car. Mrs. George Parker and Miss Josephine Jewett attended a meeting of the Theta Tan Sigma at the home of Miss Freda De Rolph of Hammond, Wednesday evening. Mrs. Charles Brown and Mrs. Norman Emerson spent the day visiting In Chicago. , Mrs. John Blaul, Jr.. of Roberts avenue Is on the sick list. Mr. and Mrs. A. Bogovlch visited Frank Spoars at St. Margaret's hospital last evening.
