HONOR MISS PARSONS. Mrs. Far Ls-nimering and the Misses Norm Bobbins, Grace - Klngwill and Florence Buntrd were hostesses at a very pretty party last evening; at Miss King-will's home in Glendale Park. The honor guest at the event was Miss Irene Parsons, a December bride. Miss Parson's marriage to Warne D. Carmicbael of Cedars, Quebea will take place Wednesday, December 1. Several games of "600" were played progressively at three tables during the evening - and high score was made by Miss Marie Robbins. A beautifully appointed luncheon was served in two courses following the card games. The luncheon tables were decorated with
pink carnations and candlesticks set
with pink --andle. Twelve covers were laid. The guests presented Miss Parsons with a handsome art basket.

MRS. GILLIS A HOSTESS. Mrs. Robert Gillis gave a very pretty party yesterday afternoon at her home in Rlmbach avenue for the members of the Alpha Phi Club. A musical program was given on the Victrola and was one of the delightful features of the afternoon. The guests brought their needle work. At four-thirty o'clock the hostess served a beautifully appointed luncheon. The table was decorated attractively with flowers.
The next club party will not be given;
until after the holidays and the hostess for the afternoon will be named later. , On account of the holidays the regular meeting day of the club was changed from Friday, December 19. A SOCIAL FUNCTION. Mrs. W. L. Simonton entertained very charmingly at a cabaret luncheon

terday afternoon in the K. of P Hall in South Hohman street. It was the
regular semi-monthly meeting and the
day for the annual election of officers.
