The Homewood Magazine Club was entertained very charmingly at a ono o'clock luncheon Thursday by the newly elected president, Mrs. Charles Kasson at her pretty home in Webb street. Will Club at her home In El street yesterday afternoon. Cards were the entertainment for the afternoon, the members playing pedro progressively it three tables. Mrs. Henrietta Huber won the first honors in the games and prizes were also won by Mrs. Larson, Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Kralowetz. At the conclusion of the games a dainty two course luncheon was served. On account of the holidays there will be no meeting of the club in two weeks but in four weeks on Thursday afternoon Mrs. Larson will be hostess at her home In the north side.
