Kaotla For Chalnua. Those who are close to Knotts declare that he will seek the democratic county chairmanship In order to continue his power in the democratic councils.. - Not long: ago there was a story out that Knotts would ask for the Gary postofflee, a. $3,000 job. At the same time Just the mere breath of a congressional boom was sounded for Knotts but th wise ones declared that a candidate for the Gary postoftice would do well to have a congressional boom in his hip pocket. TO GROW HAIR ON

A BALD HEAD

BY A SPECIALJST.

Thousands of people suiter from baldness and falling- hair who, having tried nearly every advertised hair tonic and hair-grower without results, have resigned themselves to baldness and its attendant discomfort. Yet their case is not hopeless; the following simple home prescription has made hair grow after years of baldness, and is also unequalled for restoring gray hair to its original color, stopping hair from falling out, and destroying the dandruff germ. It will not make the hair greasy, and can be put up by any druggist: Bay Rum, 6 ounces; Lavona de Composee, 2 ounces; Menthol Crystals, one-half drachm. If you wish it perfumed, add 1 draehm of your favorite perfume. This preparation is highly recommended by physicians and specialists, and is absolutely harmless, as It inntA.!ni Tirtn nf th. nnlnnnnm

That there will be a pretty struggle between the Knotts and Independent democrats is generally agreed upon in Gary. Both camps are out to get the scalp of John Gavlt the county chairman so some Gary-Hammond alliances may be expected. And the democratic Judicial candidates will havS to chose betwen flirting wih the Knotts men and the independent ,democrata. Tbia Tickle Knotts. ' In the meantime while Mayor-elect R. O. Johnson is being pestered' by Job hunters Mayor Knotts is secretly glad to Be his successful rival the object of so many sleeva pullers.

HAVE DARK HAIR AND LOOK YOUNG

Nobody Can Tell When You Darken - Gray, Faded Hair With Sage Tea. Grandmother kept her hair beautifully darkened, glossy and abundant with a brew of Sage Tea and Sulphur, Whenever her hair fell out or took on that dull, faded or ' stre.aked . appearance, this simple mixture, was. applied with wonderful effect. By asking at

any drug store for "Wjeth's Sage and Sulphur Hair Remedy," you will get a large bottle of this old-time recipe, ready to use, for about 60. cents. This simplo mixture can be depended upon to restore natural color and beauty to the hair and Is splendid for dandruff, dry, itchy scalp and falling hair. A well-known downtown druggist says everybody uses Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur, because it darkens no naturally and evenly that nobody can tell it I.as been applied it's so easy to use. teo. honor of the bride, predominates the

floral effects.

The bride enters the east room on 1 the arm of her father, being met at the specially arranged altar by Mr. Sayre. All of the relatives and friends of the Wilsons are here to attend the ceremony. The bridal gown was made In New York. It is in soft, ivory white satin, with a three-yard court train the full width of the satin, with the foundation skirt in the prevailing silhouette, that is, close at the ankles, but with a slight crinkled egect about the hips. The skirt Is slashed at the side seams in the back, so that its wearer can walk gracefully the entire length of the corridor from the state dining room to the improvised altar of bride roses and white chrysanthemums that extends across the large central window pf the east room. These slashes, however, are completely concealed by the train. The top of the gown is surplus draped in the satin, which is as

soft as any of the French weaves, but

of a purer white tone than Is usually employed by the Paris couturiers. The wedding veil will be of tulle held by the conventional orange blossoms.

There are several gowns of French

creation in the trousseau, all of ex qulsite design, but simple lines.

The gifts probably will not be

counted for two or three weeks, although a stag of special employes.

guarded by detectives, have been open

lng boxes for the past fortnight. Many official gifts have been received, even from foreign countries, but these are

all in accordance with the strictest official etiquette. -

PRICE SAYS HE WILL SUE TRIBUNE Attorney Henry Price yesterday returned to Gary after an absence of several days. He explained the check stories circulated about him by saying that he had unintentionally overdrawn his account. Price announced that he would sue the Gary Tribune for libel because of

a story in that newspaper gave the inference that he was mixed up in a bad check deal.
