The home of Mr. and Mrs. William Fepperdine In Plummer avenue was the scene of a delightful reunion of relatives last evening, the affair being planned as a surprise to Mrs. Pepperdine in celebration of her birthday anniversary. The evening was spent In an enjoyable social way with music following which a dainty collation was served. The parlors were decorated very beautifully with chrysanthemums and American beauty roses, wfllch were gifts to Mrs. Fepperdine. Mrs. Pepperdine was also the recipient oi numerous other gifts. The fourth division of the Ladies Aid Society of the First Methodist church " of which Mrs. A. S. Hunt is chairman had home bakery for sale last Saturday at the Ruff hardware

store In South Hohman street. They

had a large assortment of home bakery

goods but could have disposed of even a much larger amount. Every article

was sold by two o'clock. A sum of ten dollars was realized from the sale. The

proceeds will be used for the benefit of the church. This division of the Aid Society will have several sales during the winter, announcement of which will be made later. A IAI.CING PARTY. The Masonic Temple in Muenich Court will be the scene of & pretty dancing party this evening given - by the Young Ladies' Sodality of All Saints' Catholic church. The decorations will be very elaborate and will be carried out in blue and white, the colors of the Sodality. A large number

of young people from East Chicago and Indiana Harbor Mill be among the out-of-town guests. The grand march will open the program of dances for the evening at nine-thirty o'clock. Informal dancing will begin at eightthirty o'clock. Walsh orchestra will play during tha evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Flavin will lead the grand march and with Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bogner, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boyle, Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Dorsey, Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Dibos and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyers will act as chaperons.
