Fuzy was a can didate for the office of city judge and was numbered among the victors. As soon as Churilla appeared, according to his story, he was assailed by the crowd. After a brief struggle the men transferred their trouble to the sidewalk, where the violence increased.1 Churilla who was being rough-handled by all of the men who could get a whack at him, drew hi revolver and fired three times. Two of the bullets found lodgment In Knaver's body, one of them entering the pit of his stomach, while tho second was Imbedded La the muscular part on his right leg. The crowd, angered at the injury in flicted on one of their number, redoubled their -violence, disarmed Churilla, literally; beating their victim to a pulp. Wiile the struggle was . in progress some one telephoned for the police, and ambulances conveyed the injured men to St Margaret' hospital, after first aid had ben rendered by Dr. Herskovim whono office Is nearby. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound. Auburn, N. Y. "I suffered from nervousness for ten years, and had such organic pains tnat sometimes I would lie in bed four days at a time, could not eat or sleep and did not want anyone to talk to me or bother me at all. Sometimes I would suffer for seven hoars at a time. Different doctors did the best they could for me until four months ago I began giving Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound a trial and now I am in good health." Mrs. William H. Gill, 15 Pleasant Street, Auburn, New York. Doctor's Daughter Took It. St. Cloud, Minn. "I was so run down by overwork and worry that I could not stand it to have my children talk aloud or walk heavy on the floor. One of my friends said, 'Try Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound, for I know a doctor's daughter here in town who takes it and she would not take it if it were not good. ' I sent for the Compound at once and kept on taking it until I was all right." Mrs Bertha M. Quickstadt, 727 oth Avenue, S., St. Cloud, Minn. Lydia E.
