Dr. Farver had not spoken ten words
to the reporter before he told him that he (the doctor) had a conscience. He has a letter from J. H. Carter of Seymour, Ind.; president of ' the Jackson County, Indiana,' Medical society, in
which Dr. Carter-says that Farver is a member of the society. The letter was issued last March. Dr. Farver has been in Hammond since last May, and his own presumption is' that he is no longer a mejnber of the medical society.
Is Conscientious.
The thin gray hair and a stooped figure give Dr. Farver the appearance of a man in the sixty years. He says he knows nothing of his own experience derogatory to the people who employ him, and that while he aimed to
make money for them he is doing , his work conscientiously.
