to decorate the luncheon table. A prettily appointed luncheon was served in two courses at eleven o'llock following; a few hours spent pleasantly with music and games. The guests were furnished with magazines from which pictures were chosen for the biography of the bride from babyhood. These were put into book form and presented Miss Turner. The first subject was "Early Times In Scottish History" and was read In a very able manner by Mrs. C. L. Wolff. Mrs. Graves then read a very excellent paper on the "Celt, Danish, Roman and Norwegian Invasions." On Saturday evening, October 25 the Garfield I. O. O. K. encampment charter was returned to the members of the
East Chicago I. O. O. F. club rooms by the D. D. Q. P. LeRoy Dame of Gary. The charter was arrested by the Grand Encampment in the year 1907. Dr. Goldman started to reorganize the encampment last August, and with the assistance of T. E. Williams, O. Rahn, Eve.ret Williams, J. H. Thompson, H. Richeson, Ed DeBriae, Sr., Charles Nassau, Max Nassau, J. D. Reed and E. W. Wlckey, the charter was returned. The chapter degrees, namely, the Patriarch, the" Golden' Rule and the Royal Furpla are the nicest degrees m ethe Odd Fellows order. A' good many members of the subordinate I. O. O.
