Sinter Appeal to Ttrotber. Muncle. Oct. 15, 1913. Dear Brother: If you happen to see

my boy Arthur please wire me at once. One week has passod and have found no trace of him. We have found

hree different parties, who saw him

board the C. & O. train Friday after

noon. The boy must have been lured away, as he only had a few dollars in his possession at the time of his disappearance. The police are sending

cards out with his picture and des

cription to all Northern Indiana cities

and I feel in hopes, that he will be

found. The boy had no reasons for leaving, as he had a pleasant home, was given a high school education and allowed all the luxeries that we possess. Now Brother, if you should learn

of any cleus of his whereabouts, please

REALTY AGENTS PULL OFF NOVEL STUNT (Continued from pars one.) Cleveland avenue, eastward on Cleveland avenue to Moraine avenue, and northward on Moraine avenue to Zachau avenue ,and thence to Hohman street. As the car enters Zachau avenue Its number will be registered In a book provided for the purpose. The number will also be written on a piece of cardboard and dropped into a sealed box. Cars will be registered between the hours of two and four. Then the drawing will begin. The tenth car

number drawn out will win the $50 prize put up by the Hammond & Suburban Realty Co., the owner of Kenwood, and $25 put up by the William Ahlborn Construction company, which has put in the street and sidewalk Improvements in Kenwood. The fifteenth number drawn will win a prize of $25 to be donated by the Hammond & Suburban Realty company, and the twentieth number drawn will win a prize of $10 to be donated by the same company. William Ahlborn, president of the Ahlborn Construction company, was so Impressed with the idea that he offered to increase the first prize $25, which makes It $75 In all. Today the last work of completing improvements that have cost $28,000 for the sewer. $14,000 for the walks, curb and gutter, $16,000 for the pave

ments, and $10,000 for grading and black dirt was completed. The subdivision is now completed and ready for development. These are some of the things that the people of Hammond will see In Kenwood on "Auto day.' They will see that dreams have been converted into realities and that every objection to the property has been overcome. "It's the best Job we ever did, said William Ahlborn as he surveyed the full mile of paved streets, and the property owners will get the benefit of the low cost of the improvements. If the day be sunny Kenwood will be shown in its full autumnal glory. Nowhere in the region are there so many beautiful trees and yet this fall

or next spring the entire subdivision

is to be planted with hardy trees. In addition to the automobiles everybody is welcome to Kenwood. Every vfsitor to the subdivision is t get a beautiful souvenir to take away with him.

Hization that allows such conditions and not her," said the evangelist. Hearers are Impreniied. The audience was large and to a marked degree Intelligent. Members of the Masonic and Odd Fellow lodges were present together with delegations from surrounding towns. The Chris

tian church had as its guests church- ' men and their wives from the Metropolitan churcli of Chicago. Balanced by the presence of business and professional men of Hammond they made the assemblage brilliant. They seemed to delight in Scoville's outbursts and the applause was versisten'i and hearty, often clamorous. Ies.- in Slnsrular Personalities. "The meanest little cuss in Hammond tonight is the stinking little dancing master," critd Scoville as he pased the platform, his right fist raised on high and his left clinching a hymn book. "If I was a woman," said he, "and my husband became a dancing master I would, put him in a cradle, tie a bib around his neck, and start to raise him all over again." The

crowd roared with laughter. The air was charged with emotion. Of the standard low-bosomed even

ing gown Scoville commented that

men haven't seen such sights since

they were weaned. He spoke of "bleary-eyed, blotchy faced, blossomed-

nosed drunkards," and "fresco-faced.

kangaroo-shaped, frazzled haired women who trot the streets." In very different language he praised the papers

of Hammond.

Thirteen Go Forward. His sermon was to the effect that the sum and . substance of the Christian religion is "Do Thyself No Harm." Thirteen came forward, eight being confessions, and the total for four nights was raised about the hundred mark.

tain that he didn't alight at Marion and this leaves only three points, namely Peru, Hammond and Chicago. It was not realized by hi parents that the young man had disappeared until late In the evening when he did not put in his appearance for the evening meal. The mother thought it strange that he had not returned early from school as was his usual custom. When the boy failed to put in his appearance for dinner his schoolmates were communicated with. They knew nothing of his whereabouts. Members of the school faculty were communicated with and they said that he had not been in school during the afternoon. Many theories have been advanced
