At 1:30 he called Mr. Ross and told him. that Abe Ottenheimer, city attorney, wanted to look the matter up and he was going to give him a further extension of time.
i Yesterday morning a committee of
attorneys representing the Citizens' party called on Mr. Spencer at the city ha1.! and found him working outside

ard of the tug-boat Fields, which went
down about a year ago, carrying with
it a crew of four men. AH of the
bodies have been accounted for with
the exception of the steward. It was
evident however on close Inspection
that this body had not been in the
water more than three or four weeks,
so the police began to look over their records for reports of the missing.
They found only one man reported
missing within the past two months,
he being Zisalo Marzrndan of 3520 Guthrie street, who left home Sept. 29
to look for work and has not been seen since. The description however does not tally with that of the missing
man, so this theory was abandoned.
Undertaker Burns is of the opinion that the body is that of a tramp. The
description of the body is very meagre owing to the decomposition. The
clothing consisted of two blue gingham shirts, trousers and shoes. One leg
was an inch and a half shorter than
the other and the shoe of the foot on
the shorter leg was raised with cork.
In the pocket was found a razor,
locking glafs apd comb which, incongruous as it may appear, almost all
tramps carry.
