Following: a short business session the hostess served a dainty luncheon. Arrangements wero not definitely made for the, next meeting. The election of officers was the. An enjoyable meeting of the North-
side Indies' Club was held yesterday
afternoon at the home of Mrs. Richard
Jenkins, Jr., In Hohman street. There were twenty-six members of the club present and with them Mrs. Jenkins
entertained Mrs. Thomas Summer, Mrs.
Ruth Williams, Mrs. George Ripley and
Mrs. A. Stevens. The afternoon s program was arranged by Mrs. C. Smith and Mrs. Charles Laurence. Contests and games were the social diversions and honors in the, contests were won
by Miss Sarah Ripley, Mrs. Hepner, Mrs
William Bothwell and Mrs. Thomas Sumner. A prettily appointed two course luncheon was served during the afternoon. Mrs. Jenkins wa sasslsted by Mrs. Hepner. The next meeting will

At Riverdale an elaborate supper was
served at nine-thirty o'clock after
which informal dancing was enjoyed. A delightful musical program was
rendered. The hall was beautifully
decorated for the occasion.

C. T. U. will meet Monday evening at
eight o'clock at the homo of Miss Agnes Maguire. 689 Oakley avenue. It
will be a business meeting and several
matters of interest will be discussed.

at the Kirk yards of the Elgin, Jolle
& Eastern railway, passed away at the Gary General hospital shortly after five o'clock this morning. The young man was brought to the hospital suffering from an acute attack of appendicitis. Undertaker Finch of the Gary Undertaking company has charge of tha funeral arrangements.
