FUNERAL

LARGELY The largest funeral by auto, ever held In Indiana Harbor, or probably ini Lake County was that which attended the obsequies of the late Mrs. Mathlld Seehase, wife of Otto Seehase, the harware dealer. ( The funeral took place from the In-' dlana Harbor German Lutheran church, after brief services had been held at the family residence. The church was crowded to overflowing, almost as many having to remain outside the building as could crowd into It. There were a great many flowers, both Mr. eehase and his wife having a great many friends who contributed to the florl offering. One of the largest of the machines was loaded full of . the fragrant blossoms.. The funeral was in charge of Rev. Brauer of the- North Side German Lutheran church of Hammond who gave an eloquent talk. .Mrs. H. A. Carpenter sang a sola and the local church choir contributed suitable selec. tiona to the musical feature of the ceremonies, adding greatly to - their beauty and solemnity. There was quite a sprinkling of eutj. or town relatives ana rrienos among the mourners, these coming from Chicago, Tolleston and Crown Point and other places tn this vicinity. The pall bearers were John . Paul, Chris Struss. Paul Wlttlg. Albert Kaske, D. W, Morrison and Fred Gastel of Clark Station. Interment was in Concordia cemetery. DR.HENRY PHYSICIAN and SURGEON G.
