Wilcox of Conkey avenue gave a 1;30 o'clock luncheon at the Country Club today afa which she made announcement of the engagement of her daughter Muriel to Attorney John Thlee of Kansas City, Mo. The luncheon was most prettily appointed, a color scheme of pink and white having been carried out. Pink roses and American beauties were used for decoration. The place cards were designed in the way of pink rosea and so placed that they grave the appearance of a flower in a glass of water. The luncheon was served in five courses.
