at their home in Truman avenue Saturday evening. The party was given as a surprise to Mr. and Mrs. Haefer and celebrated the tenth anniversary of their marriage. They were the recipients of many gifts In aluminum. The party mat at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wolf In Summer street early in the evening and left from there for the home of Mr. and Mrs. Haefer where the remainder of the evening was spent in a delightful social way with music and 'games. TOLLESTON CHILD HURT Only one accident of consequence occurred at Valparaiso on July 4. The little five-year-old son of Allie Faulconer of Tolleston was severely injured. A number of his father's friends were Indulging in a game of ball at Sheridan beach and just as one of the men struck a terrific blow with the bat the boy ran forward and was struck on the forehead.
