CELEBRATION ATH0BART Hobart, Ind.. July 5. Twenty-five hundred visitors celebrated the Fourth at Hobart yesterday without an accident of any description. The town was decked in red, white and blue, flags waving from every house. The day's entertainment was very successful and townsmen and visitors 'were delighted. William Kllnger won the 100-yard dash in 10.5, and John Murray the fivemile motorcycle race in 10 minutes and
two seconds. Kllnger is a Purdue man snd Murray a native of Hobart. William Slevert of Hobart was second in the motorcycle race. A wrestling match was witnessed by a good many hundred people. Ed Piormack, champion middleweight of Chicago, threw A. J. Dorland, champion of Illinois, two falls out of three. The first fall .went to the Chicago wrestler after ' eleven minutes and three seconds of hard grappling. The next fall went to the state champion in a minute and forty-three seeonds. The third was Tiormack's in ten minutes and eighteen seconds. A basket picnic was held at Lake George park with several hundred ln attendance. Fireworks were set off from there in the evening. The fes
tivities ended with a band concert.
DEATH OF J.N.BURNHAM John N. Burnham. son of Mr, and Mrs. Samuel Burnham, died st the family residence at Burnham, 111., yesterday morning, following a brief Illness. Funeral services will be held from the residence Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p. itu The remains will then be taken to Chicago, where interment will be made at the Oakwoods cemetery.
