C7"M. McDaniel's annual play festival will take place in Harrison park next Tuesday with about all of the 6,525 school children there. Nothing short of sudden death or a ball and chain can keep Johnny at home. It is 'Tlay Festival or bust." One mother tells of her cherub son who does nothing but dream of 'Tlay Festival." The other day he wore his first pair of pants and, feeling -very manly, experimented with a new prayer. He said: "Mr. I,ord Jesus Christ, bless 'Fesser 'Daniels for that play festival business." Better Than n CI reus, "in short, the superintendent of schools is universally popular. He has originated something that supercedes .the unnual appearance of the Wallace circus here. Even the touch of the orient in that show's street pa
rade is less appealing to the youngster than the sight of a hundred kites in the air at once. The program is complete and that every one- of the 6,525 may know what is going to happen when they get there it is published below:. Play Festival at Harrison park Tuesday, June 10. Plays, games, drills. Under supervision of Miss Elizabtth Tolcott, 10 to 12 a. m. 1. Kindergarten, German klapp dance.
