During the recent disastrous flood at Peru, Indiana, on manufacturing goods the loss was immense, occasioned by water and mud. Great quantities of goods were carried away by the high water never to be recovered. The manufactured goods in the warehouses, within reach of the water, was damagd by water and mud and had to be sold at once if anything was to be realized Mr. J.
