A THIMBLE PARTY. A delightful afternoon was spent by the members of the 1 G. R. Club who were invited to meet with Mrs. Frank Lowery at her home in Indiana avenue yesterday. Mrs. Lowery was hostess at a thimble party. Mler guests spent the hours until four O'clock with
their needle work after which they were served with a prettily appointed
two course luncheon. Only the club members were present yesterday. They planned to meet again , in two weeks
on Wednesday, May 1 at the home of
Mrs. Clyde Petrie in East' Sibley street

had a delightful program arranged for
the entertainment of the guests and during the social hour served a two course luncheon. A feature of the afternoon was the literary contest In which each guest In some way represented a book. The program also Included an Instrumental solo by Miss Gladys Younger, a vocal- solo by Miss Grace Mathews and a reading by Miss Mabel Powley. Encores were given to all of these numbers.
