The regular weekly meeting of the Martha Society of the First Christian church took place yesterday afternoon in the parlors of the church in Calumet avenue. The members made plans for serving the banquet Tuesday evening and also for the next regular meeting of society which will take place Thursday afternoon, April 17th. It is desired that there is a large attendance of the membership at the next meeting as business of importance will be transacted. After the business meeting, yesterday the members enjoyed a 'social session. A number of the members devoted the afternoon to their needle work.
