Will Give Exhibit. The manual training department of the Central school will give an exhibit in the manual draining shop Thursday, Dec. 19. The work shown will consist of all the work done so far this year, and as the time of classes has been doubled since last year the work shows a marked Increase In quantity and quality over that of former terms. The exhibit will be open to visitors
from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m., and Mr. Aber-
crombie, who has the work In charge, hopes that a large number of parent? and others Interested may come In and see what the boys are doirg.

The Rossow Midgets, two little men about the size of a 5-year-old child, will be the feature of the bill at the
Orpheum, starting Thursday.
With the assistance of their brother, who Is about four times as tall as either of them, they sing, dance and do acrobatic stunts, closing their act with a boxing exhibition, which Is a scream from start to finish.
Dies at Scipio, Ind. The sad news of the death of Mrs. Fred Fenstermaker. a former resident of Hammond, was received from Scipio, Ind.. this morning, where she passed away at the family residence at 6 o'clock Sunday afternoon following a short illness. Death resulted from typhoid fever. Mrs. Fenstermaker was well-known In Hammond, where she resided on Wilcox street for a number of years. She Is survived by a husband and three children. Funeral services will occur Wednesday morning.
