social hour. A dainty luncheon was served by tho hostesses Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Whitzel. The devotional exercises were conducted by Mrs. Beach and Mrs. M. M. Chapter VI of "A Visit With Our
Authors" was given by Mrs. J. t.
Dixon. This chapter was very interesting telling of Henry Van Dyke and his
splendid qualities. "The Mansion" by Van Dyke was given in a review by Mrs. W. A. Stout. Mrs. Stout's description of the book was thorough and left a very clear Impression as to the story in the minds of her hearers. A Christmas story was beautifully given by Mrs. J. M. White. Christmas music was on of the features of the after
