POLITICAL GOSSIP FROM

TIMKV Bl HICAI' , AT THE STATU C AI'IT AIIndianafioHH, Ind., I)ec. 5. It will be n easy matter for Indiana republicans to hold a love feast this year, and it Is Renerally understood that one will be held probably in ttie holiday week. The situation this year Is different from what It was two years ago. This year they wil know positively that every man that attends and takes part In the love feact if a republican. They will know that they can count on every man present, for it is certain that In- the present troublous times no one but republicans will attend tha love feast. Two years ago the party was still a republican party, but it was divided into two distinct factions, and the faction that was iu control of the organization that year felt that it would not be wise to hold a love feast, because it would probably turn out to be a grand massacre Instead of a harmony meeting. But the faction that was in control then is out of the party now, and the lines are clearly drawn, so that the lov feast this year can be a real one. No call has been issued yet for the
meeting, but it is the understanding that one will be issued within the next few days. Fred A. Sims, republican state chairman, has returned from West P.aden, where he went after the election to rest up, and he will send out the call very soon, according to reports.

A legislative program will be discussed. It is understood that a majority of the democratic members are in favor of a program of progressive legislation, and this will jrobably develop at the meeting. No call has been issued for a meeting of the democratic senators, but It is said that a call will be issued soon, and that the meeting may be held on the same day as the meeting of the representatives. The purpose of the senate
meeting will be the same as that of the house meeting.

est year in the history of the steel trade from the standpoint of production. The previous year's high mark of 3.000,000 tons of steel rails, it is estimated, easily will be exceeded.
1 As a whole the railroads remain the : heaviest buyers of steel, as also the heaviest speciflcers against previous contracts for materials. Mills about Chicago are receiving specifications well in excess of shipments, resulting in a constantly increasing period necessary for shipment of new business placed. The mills hope to catch up somewhat during the cold weather, provided the car shortage situation does not grow worse. Immense tonnages of finished materials now are being held, waiting for the necessary cars for transportation to the consumer, and though conditions now are said to be bad, worse is looked for as soon as the first real snow arrives. Recent clement weather has been an aid of no mean proportions to the mills in their endeavor to cope with the Inrushing flood of orders. Production on the part of mills, however, as well as the facilities of the railroads to move the finished steel, will be cut down ma
terially as soon &s the real cold of winter arrives, and this will serve offset somewhat the anticipated sackening in

Some large tonnages of structural material are reported this week, the largest in the western district, being 8,500 tons for the Inspiration Copper company at Miami, Ariz., let to the American Bridge company. The same makers have procured 4.000 tons for the Interstate Transfer company and the Spirit Lake Transfer company in viaducts. Smaller contracts reported include 113 tons to the American Bridge company of Gary for a national guard armory at Sacramento, Cal.; 611 tons to A. Bolter's Sons for a City of Chicago foundry building, already reported in these columns, and 140 tons for the Standard Oil company, to be fabricated by a customer. Another apartment house at Seventy-ninth St., and Broadway, for Donald Robinson, requiring 600 tons, has been awarded to the Hauptman Iron works. The
American Securities Smelters company has given an order for a tankhouse at Baltimore, requiring 300 tons of structural steel, to an Independent fabricator. There are some inquiries in the market for girder rails for traction companies in the Chicago district and the demand for light sections from industrial roads is also marked. Prices are firm and most independent mills are getting premiums on their stuff. Demand for steel billets continues active and pressing, with addltionaal sales made for delivery in the central west, and on the lakes in lots of from 1.000 to 3.000 tons each for
Quickly Eases Stiff, Sore, Swollen Joints and Muscles Drives all Rheumatic Fains Away. . It is needless to suffer any longer with rheumatism, and be all crippled up, and bent out of shape with its heart-wrenching pains, when you can be quickly and permanently cured. Rheumatism comes from weak, inactive kidneys, that fail to filttr from the blood, the poisonous waste matter and uric acid; and it is useless to rub on liniments or take ordinary remedies to relieve the pain. This only prolongs the misery and can't possibly cure you.
The only way to cure rheumatlrtn is to remove the cause- The new discovery, Croxone, positively does this. It neutralizes and dissolves all the poisonous substances and uric acid that lodge in the Joints and muscles, to scratch and Irritate and cause rheumatism, and cleans out and strengthens the stopped-up. Inactive kidneys, they filter all the poison from the blood, and drive it on and out of the system. Croxone is the " most woivlerfnl medicine ever made for curing chi-onlc rheumatism, kidney troubles, and bladder disorders. You wi'J find It different from all other remedies. There is nothing else on earth like it. It matters not how old you are, or how long jou have suffered. It is practically impossible to take it Into the human system without results.. You will find relief fro'm the first few doses, and you will be surprised how quickly all your misery and suffering will end. An original package of Croxone costs but a trifle et any first class drug store. All druggists are auth-
