The final shoot of the Hammond Gun flub .Sunday afternoon at Sharpshooters' park was not a very enjoyable affair, owln to the bad weather. A high wind und a dark sky reduced the number of the attendance and accounted for the low scores that were made.
In the fourteen regul r shoots, one leaprue event and one tournament, over 22.000 targets were thrown at Sharpshooters' park. In addition to these events the members attended six league league shoots held on other grounds. The individual nverages for the sea-

Minnie Thompson and Gertie Hayes are named as co-respondents in the case. Miss Virginia Brooks accompanied Mrs. Moor to the courtroom.

Tony Litzan. who was taken suddenly ill while at his work lust week, was removed to Carl Beck's hospital, Chicago, yesterday afternoon, where he will submit to a critical operation. Mr. Litzari is- employed in the Uon sstore grocery department, and his wide circle of friends are wishing him a speedy recovery.

which was announced would take
place with Mrs. rsewell at her home in
Indiana Harbor Friday afternoon has been postponed on account of illness at the home of the hostess. In two
weeks on Friday afternoon December 13th the members will be entertained
by Mrs. Newell.

Court of Honor took place last even
ing in Weis Hall in State street. There
was a larpe attendance of the mem
bership and among the visitors was
Mrs. Sands, the deputy who is work
ing in Hammond. The members dis
cussed meeting for military drill work.
After the regular lodge session re
freshments were served and a delightful time was spent socially. The mem
bers will meet again in two weeks on
Monday evening, Pecember 9th and
follow their usual business and social
program.
