her hearers with a vocal solo "The Magnetic Waltz" and very graciously responded to an encore. "The Sweet Briar." Hoth selectiono were beautifully rendered and thoroughly enjoyed by all. A paper on "The Kelifcion of rtme' was read by Miss Ruth Webster and was very pood and interesting. This paper was written by Mrs. Giles Warner. Miss Webster then favored the ladies with a reading: "What George Says." She was heartily encored and responded with another beautiful selection, "The Queen's Robe,' which was very highly apprepciated by all. ' Mrs. Punsinc's paper on the "Laws of Texas. I'ertaininK to Women and

Children," was very lnteresuns. Miss Lillian Thompson concluod the afternoon's program with a very pretty piano selection. "The Garden of Allah." The social room of the First Baptist church in Kast Sibley street was the scene of a delightful meeting of the Camp Fire Ulrls last evening. Thirty five pirls of hifrh school ape met together at five-thirty o'lock. A ThanksKivins supper was served. The covers wera laid at two long; tables which hod been prettily decorated or the occasion. decorated the room very attractively. Following: the supper there was both vocal and Instrumental music and a number of frames were enjoyed by the young: women. A series of social affairs will take place during: the winter and the jftrls are anticipating many pleasant times.
