There was a meeting of the. Martha Society yesterday. The members met for all day session in the parlors of the First Christian church in Calumet avenue. The committee of which Mrs. Fred Harnett is chairman had charge of the meeting. They had home bakery for sale, from which a nice amount was realized which will be used for the benefit of the church. Tomorrow the members of the Martha Society will sell home bakery at the Summers Drug Store. A Thanksgiving dinner will be. served at the church next Thursday and the public is cordially invited to attend.
