The entertainment opened with a spook parad.j at seven-thirty o'clock often which npropriato Hallowe'en games were played. Hallowe'en supper was served. It was a Hallowe'en masquerado and the costumes worn by the guests afforded a great deal of merri
ment. The members of the church and their friends wero Invited and there was a large attendance In spite of the disagreeable- weather. Among thi? guests were a number from Chicago and Gary. A nice sum was realized for the church. AN AFTEKNOOX TARTY. The members of the Idle Hour club were guests at a very pretty party at
which Mrs. R. E. Schoff entertained yesterday afternoon at her home in Cedar street. I'edro was played progressively at two tables.. The honors were won by Mrs. C. Toms, Mrs. J. Pufrain and Mrs. Schoff. The consolation prize was awarded to Mrs. J. Hessinger of St. Faul, who is Mrs. Schorrs house guest. A SPOOK I'UITY. Miss Marguerite Knotts entertained a number of her high school friends at a delightful Hallowe'en party las', evening at her home in Muenich Court. It was a "Spook Party and the early part of the evening was spent in guessing the Identity of the guests. Hallowe'en games were played and music was a feature of the evening. Flowers, autumn leaves. Jack o' lanterns and festoons of black and yellow crerje paper decorated the parlors very prettily. There were thirty-six young people there.
A MASQl I'-HADK. The Ilomewood residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hill at Ku South Hohman street was the sc-ene of one of the most delightful parties of the Hallowo'en season last evening. Among the guests were the members of the Alpha Phi Club and their husbands and a few other friends of Mr. and Mrs. Hill. Almost the entire evening was spent in guessing the identity of the guests, so complete were some of the masquerades. Prizes were awarded in the contest. After a number of Hallowe'en games had been played a three course luncheon were served. The covers were laid at one long table in the dining room and small tables in the living room.
