Proposition to Join the state federation before the convention in Indiana next week, and this went through unanimously. The club during the past year has taken on added responsibilities and Is rapidly assuming the aspect of a full-fledged Commercial club, and the officers and members deemed it about ripe for affiliation with the slate organization. A committee was appointed to confer with the Commercial club of Indiana Harbor and Fast Chi -ago for the arrangement of big doings on the occasion of the turning on of the ornomental illumination system in the business districts of the two towns. W. R. l'iatnond was named as chairman and hi' will convey to the Commercial club the suggestion that the latter organization to appoint a committee to oct with him in arranging a program that will make the event one long to be remembered in the Twin Cities. It was suggested that the directors get together before the next regular meeting to confer on proposition to increase the club's quarters. The club is so large that it has about outgrown its present accommodations, and there are those w ho believe larger rooms are needed.
