(Special to Tub Times. Whiting. Ind., Sept. 23. A ferieus saloon fight took plare In Whiting about 6:30 o'clock last evening, which dismrbed considerably the neighborhood tn the vicinity of Charles Muslin's saloon, on Indiana boulevard. The fight occurred in Muslin's saloon, and during the course of the brawl, bo'.tles and other glassware were broken up. One of the participants. George Franko of 51S Clark Hrft received six cuts on the head, two of them being scalp wounds. A physician was called to attend Franko after be and George Janos were placed under r.rrest by Officers Nlzlolkiewtcz and Plnkerton. Three of the men who were also engaged in the friras. escaped before the anets were made. Franko and Janos were both placed under $50 bonds to appear before Mayor I'arks for trial at 7 p. m this evening.
