"The Fortune Hunter," which is undoubtedly one of the finest plays that has been Written in recent years; full of humor, a strain of seriousness in it. pointing to a pood mofnl and one of the most wholesome plays that was ever put on the stape. it deserves the stare, it deserves the patronage of the best people of the community. "The Fortune Hunter" is to be seen at the Hammond theater on next Sunday evenitiR. The play Is to be produced by the New York company, which will later beein an enprasement in Chtcafro. On Saturday the Hammond theater will stasre a burlesque show. The excuse for this Is the fact that only in this manner can the house be made to pay. The shows wlll nil be censored, however. Vaudeville Is still on the bill at the orpheum theater and will be continued during the following week. The house is doinp a prent business at both its afternoon and eveninp performances.
