EAST CHICAGO The Congregational Ladles' Aid society will have an "after vacation reunion" Wednesday afternoon at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Augrust Johnson. All of the sections of .the organization are invited and sectlonsA will have a short business seession. The Ladies' Aid society has not been meeting during July and Augrust, and the meembers will return to their duties with renewed zeal. Mrs. August Johnson ,and daughter Marjorle and Mrs. Elizabeth Bronson toook a lake trip Saturday. George Standih and his mother and sister, who were visiting him yesterday, from Milwaukee, were entertained at dinner at the home of T. J. Phillips, on Beacon street. Mrs. Stella Allyea anl Mrs. Steve Winters returned Saturday night from a ten days' visit in Holland, Mich. They expected to remain longer, but Mrs. Allyea was taken sick so they decided to return. Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Groves and son John spent yesterday with Mrs. Groves' mother in Chicago. Everett Williams returned this morn- . ing from Brazil Ind., where he had been spending a few days with his mother Mayor A. G. Schlleker has purchased, a new five-passenger Chalmers-Detroit ear, which makes the steenth car bought by the mayor. Mrs. G. A. Bronson spent yesterday in South Chtcgo attending a family reunion at the home of her sister, Mrs. : Frank Jacobson.
