Little Rosie Mila Drakulich, the sixyear old girl, who was burned about
the body Saturday afternoon whilo playing around a bonfire at Twentysecond avenue and Washington street
and who was rescued and rushed to the doctors in a motor by Ex-Alderman Castleman died a little after five o'clock at the Mercy hospital this morning.
Rosie Mila's funeral will take place
this afternoon from the home of her father Joe Drakulich, who lives at Twenty-second avenue and Washington stret right near where the bon fire
was. Some of her playmates, who were with Rosie Mila on Saturday, will act as pall bearers.
At first it was thought that the
little one might recover but when the doctors at Mercy hosplal found that
the burns covered tworthirds of her body they gave up hope.

Ornamental Street Lighting
System to Be Used in Twin Cities
At the meeting of the East Chicage board of public . works held yesterday in the city hall, Clerk Walter Spencei was authorized to advertise for bids for an ornamental street lighting system for East Chicago and Indiana Harbor. Bids will be asked for installing the posts and equipment and for power. The system will embrace almost the
entire business section, of both towns.

lights each. This plan has been banging fire for the past two years, and has been awaiting the sanction of a few who will benefit by it, but who have not until recently expressed their willingness to share in the expense. Advertisements will aso be inserted for automobile firs engines, an appropropriation for which was passed at the last meeting of the city council. The contract was let for the re-decoration of the city hall to Charles Fichter, the contract price being in round numbers $1,100. The entire interior of the building will be done over with the exception of the library and board of education rooms.
