Do You Want Your Money's Worth?

Flanders "20" Taurine Car, $800

The next time an automobile salesman tries to sell you a car at a discount, tell him that the old "something for nothing" story can't fool you. The best automobiles in the world are sold for their list price, not a penny less. They are worth it. But the lame ducks, the second rates, the nondescript and assembled automobiles are in the public market looking for the highest bidder. Look out they don't get you. If gold-brick cars are not worth their list price, how much are they worth? Nobody knows. Cut price deals are frauds. But if you want a car of one price to all and worth every cent of it, get either a Studebaker E-M-F "30," $1100, or Flanders " 20," $800. You can trust them. You get all that you pay for, and that is more than you get with any other car at near their price. Studebaker guarantees them that's the big reason. No matter what price temptation falls in your way, Studebaker E-M-F "30" and Flanders "20" cars are far bigger bargains, because in years of good service and satisfaction they pay big returns. short time until other industries will locate on the north side of the carfal

and will make the Lake Georg-e district I one of the greatest steel producting renters in the Chicago district. Developments In the way of locating industries have come thick and fast in the past few months. This has made the development of the canal an absolute necessity. It is understood that negotiations are now pending by which

a strip of land north of the canal will be sold to another large industry. The Great Lakes Dredire and Dock Co. has the largest hydraulic dredge in the world at work on this part of the canal. Between the main north and south branch of the canal and Forsythe avenue the canal has alreadybeen dredged to a width of ICO feet. This will be widened to 200 fefrt. West of Forsythe avenue the canal is nothing but a ditch. It will be dredg

ed to a width of 200 feet. When the -

work is completed next fall there will be a canal 200 feet wide and 21 feet

deep all of the way from the main

brainch of the canal to Lake George.

There will be no wait for government appropriations. The East Chicago Co.' will go ahead with the work. It is compelled to do so under Us con

tract with the Schlesinger Steel Co.

It1 is further compelled to do so to

carry out the plans which it formulated years ago when the canal project

was first adopted as the plan of the East Chicago Co. for the development of the East Chicago. Indiana Harbor district.

In Its real estate edition The Times

pointed out that while most Of the Industrial development in East Chicago had taken place along the east side of

the canal that there would be a corresponding development along the west side and that this would result in one of the greatest booms that the region has ever known.

This prophesy has been fulfilled in a

remarkably short time. But only a be ginning has been made. It is expected that the next few months will witness

a scramble on the part of the steel in

dustries of the cpuntry, which are beginning to appreciate the strategic Im

portance of a location on the canal In

East Chicago, Indiana Harbor and

Hammond, to get sites on this ideal dockage property.

It is believed that the next step that

will be taken will be the development

of the territory around Wolf Lake as dockage property and factory sitos This will take place unless the For-

sythes and Shedds, who own most of

the property, hold it at such a high

figure that it will not look attractive to the Industries which might seek a

of skin disease to call upon him for free examination. We have had such uniformily good luck in treating this class of diseases that we are inclined

to be a little bit boastful. Read what a few of onr cured patients say about us:

'I have had a varlcosed ulcer on

my leg for eight long years. The sore

was about the size of the palm of my

hand and owing to the swelling of

the leg made it almost as large again

as the other leg. The depression made by the sore was almost as deep as the thickness of my finger. I had

tried so many different treatments

and doctors without any success that I had become thoroughly discouraged. I took treatment of! Dr. Leedy four

months. True it was a long time, but today the leg is sound and well. I wish 1 had found Dr. Leedy 's treat-

i ment eight years ago.

"EDW. EBERST, " 522 Murray Street, Hammond, Ind." "Track Foreman, Erie R. R. Co. "For bIx years I had a large open

sore on my leg. I had taken treat

ment of numerous doctors, and had used every remedy or preparation

that I could hear of that I thought

would do me any good. I was thor

oughly discouraged, for it was painful

in the extreme and I doubted if it ever could be cured. When I came to

Dr. Leedy, he would not take my case

unlees I would promise to come reg

ularly to the office for treatment. I confess I was skeptical at first, but I

was ready to try almost anything. The improvement was marked from

the first. It was a trifle tedious to

go regularly to the office for the X-

rav and other light treatments, but

I the results were perfect and today,

now more than three years, my leg

has remained perfectly well, with no

indications of further trouble.
