ABSOLUTELY CURES STOMACH TROUBLE
AND INDIGESTION
The question as to how long you are going to continue a sufferer from Indi
gestion, Dyspepsia or out-of-order
Stomach Is merely a matter of how
soon you begin taking some Diapepsin, If your Stomach is lacking' In diges
tive -power; why not help the' stomach
to do Its work, not with drastic drugs, but a re-enforcement of digestive agents, such as are naturally at work
In the stomach.
People with weak Stomachs should take a little Diapepsin occasionally, and
there will be no more Indigestion, no
feeling like a lump of lead in the atom
ach, no .heartburn. Sour risings. Gas
on Stomach or Belching of undigested
food, Headaches, Dizziness or Sick
Stomach, and, besideB, what you eat will not ferment and poison your
breath with nauseous odors. All these symptoms resulting from a sour, out-
of-order stomach and dyspepsia are generally relieved in Ave minutes after
taking a little diapepsin.
Go to your druggist and get a 50-
cent case of Pape's Diapepsin now,
and you will always go to the table with a hearty appetite and what you
eat will taste good, because your stomach, and inteatlneswill be clean
and fresh, and you will know there are
not going to be any more bad nights and miserable days for yon. They freshen you and make you feel like life

PRICES OF MEATS
ARE GOING UP
Hammond housewives have noticed a
perceptible tug on thel purse strings of late, owing to the increased meat
prices, which have gone up In sympa-
try with the wholesale prices.
The Indications, say the local butch
ers, are that the immediate future will
see another increase rather than a re
duction in meat prices, and among the
various kinds beef Is to have the stiff-
est advance. Veal at the present time
Is classified with the low priced meats
but it, too. will go ud in price.
As to prices generally as compared
to Chicago there is little difference.
WEEK'S REAL
ESTATE MARKET

erty.
A number of lots have been sold in
Homewood, along Calumet avenue and
on the north side. The air Is full of
talk about real estate deals, and It Is
expected that the summer will be the
greatest in the history of the busi
ness.

Have you any idea what these prices mean? Why you can't buy a desirable Lot anywhere in the Calumet Region for $200.00. Hammond has always been safe and conservative in its lot prices. From Hammond it is easy to get to Chicago, Whiting, Indiana Harbor, East Chicago and Gary. Here is the one and only chance for a man of moderate means to own a lot. Every one of these lots is worth $100 and we are selling some of them as low as $39.00, and all on easy payments. The people who buy lots are usually the slowest to see real bargains and catch on to the fact that values are jumping up. One man in Hammond, three weeks ago, bought a place for $2,100.00; Last week he refused $6,500.00 for this same piece of property. 'Now maybe you can't buy; such an expensive piece of property as that, it may be like running into an ice-berg, it would bust you, but anyone who really wants to buy lots and save their money can buy one or two or five of these lots and it will make you independent in five years. Quit blowing money foolishly. You may not be able to work in a few years so save up something. With a few lots which grow in value rapidly, and a good garden, you have a chance. ' TWO $300 LOTS FREE! The offer of The Lake County Times will be continued. The two wage-earners that give the 10 best reasons, why you should own a home in Hammond, will get these two choice lots FREE. 15TH AVENUE is to be paved and improved, 80 feet wide clear into Gary.
