Lapofte, Ind., April 29. A legat fight Involving a flsherwoman's estate Will be begun in the Laporte County Superior Court today, when A. B. Hitt of Texas, and Isaac R. Hist, Jr., of Washington, will file a suit to obtain possession of valuable land near Gary, from Mr. Robert Carr, who squatted on the land In 1876, when Gary was a sand dune. During the Indian trading days a French Canadian named Boblen married an Indian squaw and obtained a government warrant for the land in controversy. Boblen later met Isaac R. Hitt, a Chicago lawyer, -who, ascertaining that no record had been made of the warrant, is said to have teen Induced to accept a Quitclaim deed to ohe half of the land. In consideration for whicli Hitt Is said to have agreed to record tha .till. . . . ... . The land Involved is owned and oc

cupied by Mrs. Dfusilla Carr of Miller. She won out In the Valparaiso courts. The defendants then moved for a new
