Barrett, age fifty-one, an upholsterer, of Anderson, fell dead of heart disease while walking from the creek to the traction car line at 6 o'clock last evening. He was accompanied by Charles Mullenix. of Anderson, who summoned George Miller, a farmer, and they carried the body to the Miller residence. Mr. Jarrett had been subject to acute attacks of heart trouble for several years. A widow, three sisters an dfour brothers, all of j Anderson, survive.

This splendid aggregation of gloomdlspellers will play here on next Sunday afternoon and evening at Hammond Theatre. The advance sale has been large and Indications are that a capacity hou4?e will greet Feld and his Greater Minstrels. He Is & genetal favorite here and his annual coming li always featured by a cordial reception from his old and new patrons. Field Is now making his twentysixth, annual tour of the country and he haa come to be a familiar figure in the many towns included in his route. The girl acknowledged she had signed It, but said it was a joke. She threw her arms about her father's neck, exclaiming, "I'm dying father, and I don't want to die. I don't care if Otto la dead.
