ed meeting of the city council was held

on Monday night, and in the absence

of Mayor Parks Alderman Donegan

acted as mayor pro tern.

A resolution was read in regard to paving Steiber street with wooden blocks. This was deferred until the

next regular meeting of the council.

A petition was presented signed by Dan Lynch and others requesting that

Davidson place be paved with West-
