The Hammond Womtn'i Club will entertain all of the Women's Clubs of Lake County on the afternoon of March 30th in the auditorium of the A.incoin-jerrerson college or Law at 2:J0 o'clock. Kach club will be represented on -the program by one of its members. The program will consist of music and papers on the following subjects: "Club Women In Civic Life," "Club "Women In The Home", "Club Women In Politics" and "Opportunities of Lake Coxinty Club Women." As there are over three hundred club women in Lake County, It Is expected the "Reciprocity Meeting;." will meet with much 'favor, in that it w ill brinikf together the club women of the county to discuss subjects they study in common. All of the departments of the Hammond Club are assisting- in the preparation for the "Reciprocity Day." The active committee In t charge Is composed of Mrs. Ralph . W. Ross, chairman; Mesdames S. K. The following club have signified their intention of attending; the meeting: Whiting Fortnightly Club, Indiana Harbor Roun.l Table Club, Crown Point Study Club. East Chicago Tuesday Reading Club, Indiana Harbor Woman's Club and -JUmmond Woman's Club. Tho presidents of the out of town clubs will be in the receiving line with Mrs. J. M. The members of the Parents' Club of the Lafayette school had one of . the most interesting meetings of th school year last evening in the school hall in Calumet avenue. There were more than three hundred patrons and friends of the school who gathered at seventhirty o'clock to listen to the program. , Mrs. I. I. Modjeska, the president.of the club, presided at the meeting. Follow ing the program an hour was spent pleasantly In a social way. The social committee of which Mrs. John Gavlt . was chairman were hostesses at the meeting and served refreshments during the social hour. The. Rev. Floyd H. Adams, pastor of the First Baptist church was 111 and could not attend but x splendid address was given by. Me. W. C. Belman.
