NEW ROAD
Further impetus will be given to the proposed Lake and Porter county road which is to pierce the sand dunes and connect Miller with Chesterton, via Dine Park, using the roadbed of the old. Detroit-Chicago stage coach trail of ante-bellum days, at a meeting of the Miller town board to be held tonight. The Miller trustees are negotiating with several property owners regarding damages and benefits, and the meeting called for tonight is to ward off any court troubles, if necessary. An effort is being made to start construction on the Iake county end of the road this spring, if possible. Porter county commissioners and the town governments of Porter and Chesterton will push the proposition. When completed the road will make an excellent highwas' for autos. As yet. an auto has never been seen in the sand dune roads.

Ladies Do Not Submit to an Operation Until you
have tried My electrical treatments. Not all cases of tumors and female weakness can be cured by electrical treatments, but many, very many of them can. There are some cases of female
troubles that can be cured by no other treatment than surgery, but every
day there are women operated upon that could be cured by my local treatments, cured sound and well and without the dangers of the baneful after effect of surgery poorly done. Only too often the patient is rendered an invalid for life, not because of the disease, but because of the operation. My electrical treatments are safe and agreeable and many indeed are the grateful patients that have been spared an operation by their use. MY METHODS My methods are ttie result of many
years spent in the large and private hospitals, colleges, post-graduate
schools, dispensaries, special and pri
vate practice. Coupled with experience born only of long years of special practice, the equipment of my office is acknowl
edged to be far the most complete of northern Indiana. The day is forever past when a doctor can hope to be successful with only a few shelves of drugs with which to conduct his practice. It is so with a mechanic, he cannot be expected to do good work with only a few. old or worn out tools. My office equipment enables me to afford you the most modern and best there is in the way of manual thereapeutis. MEN AND WOMEN It is the duty you owe to yourself
